Dr. Annie Tam graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry in New York City. While on the east coast, she gained 6 years of extensive ocular disease experience in an ophthalmology practice located in Flushing, New York. She treated glaucoma patients as well as provided pre and post-operative care for LASIK, cataract and corneal transplant patients.
In 2006, Dr. Tam moved to California to be closer to her family. She joined the Beverly Hills Institute of Ophthalmology where she specialized in providing her patients with the most advanced options in soft and rigid gas permeable contact lenses. She also has extensive experience in fitting multifocal as well as scleral contact lenses.
Dr. Tam chose to bring her expertise to Manhattan Vision Group for its emphasis on providing quality vision care to patients of all ages and to treat each patient as if they are family. She currently lives in Redondo Beach with her husband, two sons and their dog, Henry.
